Private individuals can purchase Linköping University’s range of official clothes, bags and other merchandise from the webshop. LiU co-workers who wish to purchase items for in-service use should do so through the Raindance economy system, free of VAT.
Organic cotton – Sustainable raw-material
T-shirt is made of 100% organic cotton.
Organic cotton is a natural, GMO-free fibre that uses less water than standard cotton. In addition, its production does not involve the use of chemicals (no fertilisers or pesticides) and encourages rotation of crops to keep soil healthier, more fertile and maintain humidity. Waste from the cotton ginning process is also recycled for the animal feed industry.
OEKO-TEX certified product – harmful chemicals
The t-shirt is produced under OEKO-TEX 100 standard full garment licens. Meaning that the t-shirt is following the requirements in regards to use of harmful chemicals accordingly to OEKO-TEX standard 100.
